The Boundary Commission has published proposals which will reduce the number of parliamentary constituencies (and MPs) from 650 to 600.
In Knowsley we are unaffected by this as residents here will continue to be represented by the three existing constituencies: Garston and Halewood, Knowsley and St Helens South and Whiston.
At a Council meeting on 11 October, councillors in Knowsley agreed to support the proposals. We believe the proposals are good for Knowsley because they protect the identity of our borough, maintain our community links and make sure that our residents are effectively represented.
Now the Boundary Commission also wants to hear from you – so make sure you have your say before Monday 5 December.
